The system integrates a high dynamic range (HDR) camera and a liquid crystal spatial\u00a0<a class=\"topic-link broken_link\" title=\"Learn more about light modulator from ScienceDirect&#039;s AI-generated Topic Pages\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/topics\/earth-and-planetary-sciences\/light-modulators\">light modulator<\/a>\u00a0(SLM) to dynamically regulate light, adapting to environmental scenes by modifying pixel\u00a0<a class=\"topic-link broken_link\" title=\"Learn more about transmittance from ScienceDirect&#039;s AI-generated Topic Pages\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/topics\/earth-and-planetary-sciences\/transmittance\">transmittance<\/a>\u00a0through a specialized control algorithm, thereby offering adaptable light management to meet the users\u2019 visual needs. Nonetheless, a conventional occlusion mask on the SLM, intended to block incoming light, emerges blurred and insufficient due to a misaligned\u00a0<a class=\"topic-link broken_link\" title=\"Learn more about focal plane from ScienceDirect&#039;s AI-generated Topic Pages\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/topics\/engineering\/focal-plane\">focal plane<\/a>.
