IEEE Computer Society Tokyo / Japan Joint Chapter gives Young Author Award to the first author of excellent publications published in IEEE Computer Society such as Transactions, Magazine, etc., or proceedings of international conference sponsored by IEEE Computer Society. Every year IEEE Computer Society Japan elects one or two of the applicants of young researchers (under age 40) belonging to the Computer Society Japan Chapter. In 2017, one of the applicants was elected.
