Mr. Higashi (M1) has taken an oversea internship at one of the most renowned research institute on AR, HIT Lab NZ of the University of Canterbury in New Zealand from February 5th to March 13th, 2020.
He studied on synchronizing facial expressions of a virtual avatar and the real user so that it becomes able to be estimate the user’s emotional status from the virtual avatar’s face.
